Wampanoag Culture
The Wampanoag Tribe's culture was heavily based on their religion. The respect they had for Mother Earth was something that influenced every aspect of their lives. Nothing went to waste. The Wampanoag used animal skin for clothing, instruments, and shelters. The bones were used for tools. Even the bladders of animals were used as water containers. When foraging for food, the Wampanoag took only what they needed and nothing more. Every aspect of their life related to their respect for nature, and the land they lived upon.
